4:00 PM Life
We continued birding today, combining it with a little shopping in Picton. We first drove to ? and followed the road a short distance to Lake Ontario. We then drove to ? and did a longer walk to the lakeshore. Lunch was at an upscale restaurant in Waupoose. It was our special treat to ourselves and was delicious. After a brief stop in Picton we returned to Prince Edward Point and walked to the abandoned lighthouse. Then back to the farm house for a light dinner and an early bed.
4:00 PM Literature
While in Picton I bought a book at a great independent bookstore.
- Turing's Cathedral (2012) by George Dyson
- I have read one of Dyson's earlier books, "Darwin Among the Machines" and am a clear fan of his writing.
