6:00 am Musings
Much of this week has been spent struggling with getting our new iPhone 4 working with a new carrier. Plus re-establishing my daily fitness workouts/coulee walks. I now feel that I have the day in front of me.
My two priorities for today will be a coulee walk and a search for a geocache. There have been a number of new caches placed in the Lethbridge area at part of the annual CARL (Cache and Relax Lethbridge) event. I need one for today and this will also allow me to register as having attended the event.
6:50 am Geocaching
I walked to a nearby CARL4 cache and quickly made the find.
That fills in another square on my grid for all the days of the year. I have now filled in 275 squares, only 90 more to do. Many of the blanks are in December and January. There are 4 more blanks to fill in for June (I have already missed 4 for this month).
2:00 PM Technology
I have purchased a small device called Spot Connect that uses a bluetooth connection with my Spot Messenger device to allow my iPhone to send small text or email messages even when there is no cell phone connectivity. This is a much better solution to letting people know what is happening when I am in the mountains.
8:00 PM Literature
I found some time today to continue reading "No Trace".
