A. Morning Musings

I have a clean slate in front of me today.

Well I did until a moment ago. While browsing the geocaching web site I noticed a new cache on the west side of Lethbridge. It was placed there almost 2 weeks ago and has had 2 logged finds so far. It is near the high level bridge and is in an area that I have always enjoyed walking.

I have just set up my first Travel Bug for a geocaching adventure. His name is Doraemon. I will drop him off at a geocache today and see what happens.

I have reviewed the information on the Travel Bugs in the Bed Bug Inn in Coaldale. There are 7 TBs that arrived on September 26 and which have no objections to travelling west. I then identified the 3 who have travelled the shortest distances so far and will bring them to Lethbridge.

B. Actual Learning Activities

4:00 PM

Today was a superb day for geocaching - the temperature was +13 C and sunny. I began by searching for a new cache on the west side of Lethbridge. This was successful. I also placed my first Travel Bug in this cache. I then decided to see if I could find the cache at Park Lake - this was a site that I had placed in my GPS unit a couple of weeks ago. Once again, another find. I then drove over to Coaldale to retrieve 3 Travel Bugs from the Coaldale Bed Bug Inn and take them to Lethbridge. After all this work I stopped off at the new Tim Hortons in Coaldale for a bowl of their famous chilli. Refreshed I decided to try for the remaining cache that I had on my GPS unit. My third find for the day. Here are the reports for the three searches:
