Description	This cache is placed to help celebrate the centennial of the Lethbridge High Level Bridge in 2009. Cache is about 600 metres from the parking lot and is a regular LnL with a Timmies FTF prize.

PLANNING

The weather is spectacular for this time of year - warm and sunny. I noticed while browsing the geocaching website this morning that there was a new cache in west Lethbridge. I decided to see if I could find it.

OUTCOME

This was a very pleasant walk in an area I am familiar with. The cache was well hidden in some dense shrubbery, but an accurate reading on my GPS unit made this relatively straight forward. I find that caches that are on the side of a hill are particularly challenging as the GPS unit only keeps track of horizontal distances and so it is easy to misjudge how much climbing is required to get to a particular spot. Approaching the high level bridge Beaver work all of the branches have been carried away Find #76 Doraemon - my first Travel Bug View of bridge from cache location I have now placed my first Travel Bug, called Doraemon, into the real world of geocaching. It will be interesting to follow his movements as he meets new friends and visits (hopefully) other provinces and countries.
