RuralDescription This cache is in a provincial park with lots of recreation possibilities both winter and summer. Enjoy! This cache has been replaced and has now moved a bit to higher ground. There's lots of birds around here, especially check out the wetland just west of here. If the water's not too high, you can follow the western path further around and get to the "island". Nice place for a picnic! The cache is in a white ice-cream pail
Hint You can park at N49 48.988 W112 55.071 near the boat launch area. The cache is hidden at the base of a clump of trees not far from the path. PLANNING
The weather is spectacular for this time of year - warm and sunny. I had 3 cache sites in my GPS unit. This was the second. The day was gorgeous, although by the time I arrived at Park Lake the wind had begun to come up. OUTCOME
This is also an area that I have visited a number of times in my pre-geocache life.
Park Lake - the cache is in those trees getting warmer tree stump Tree stump after moving it - Find #77 white ice-cream pail Geese & ducks migrating southAlthough I was in fairly dense bush, the coordinates put me in an area with few hiding spots. Yet the cache was a large white ice-cream pail. I began kicking any logs and tree stumps to see if they would move and I soon had myself the second find of the day.
