Another unseasonably warm day. That means more geocaching. I will try for the 5 remaining caches in Popson park, and then see how I feel about a hike to the 2 more remote ones in Cottonwood park.
I am also hoping to continue progress on assembling the cylindrical hopper cars.

This was a great geocaching day. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the wind didn't come up until noon. I had a wonderful time exploring an area of the coulee that I had never even seen before. I am really getting to see and appreciate areas in this province that I never suspected were worth visiting.
I began with the caches downstream from the parking area in Popson Park:
At this point I returned to the truck and shed my vest as it was getting warmer. I then continued upstream to try to find two more.
I then returned to the truck and drove up out of the coulee and to a parking area for Cottonwood Park which is just upstream from Popson park. Then a good walk back into the coulee and a left turn.
Then a return to the path up out of the coulee but instead I kept going upstream to
That completed my list of 7 caches and it was time to take that path up out of the coulee. I left the house this morning at 9:40 am and was back home at 2:40 PM. I thoroughly enjoyed the day - the scenery was spectacular. I will return to these areas again.
