A. Morning Musings

I am clear about one item for today - I am going to try for the 4 remaining west Lethbridge geocaches that I have never attempted. I may take a quick drive out to Popson park while I am in that area and get a sense of the land. There are another 6 geocaches, one in the park (which is well known for rattlesnakes) and 5 along the river (which may not be rattlesnake country). I think it may be a bit cool for the snakes at this time of year. That would be nice. I still have another 4 in west Lethbridge that are "repeats" - these are all little green things in trees, plus one that appears to have been muggled.

I always like to have one fiction book on the go. This time I have selected "Through Black Spruce" which has been receiving good reviews lately. I think this may go well with "A Fair Country" as they both have an aboriginal theme.

It is still dark outside, and will be for another hour. Time for a little reading.

B. Actual Learning Activities

1:00 PM

I am back from a delightful geocache trip to the coulees. I left the house at 10 am, found the first cache at 10:30, the second at 11:15 and the third at 11:50. I drove out to Popson park to see what it looked like and also had a quick look at a fourth cache (GC1ACYR) "NS West #6" but didn't really look for more than a couple of minutes before coming home. At the moment I find that little green things in trees are not of much interest to me. I will not count that as a search - it was more like a reconnoiter.

Here are my reports: GC15CT - "West End", GCW1D9 - "Lethbridge Coalminers Puzzle Cache", and GC153Y1 - "Adventure in Paradise".
