We watched the TV coverage of the election in the United States right through until the final speeches were finished. Fascinating. It was not a nail biter, but it certainly was one where we wanted Obama to win. We had followed this closely ever since the beginning of the Democratic nomination process. One did have a feeling that we were watching history in the making.
We now have a nice blanket of snow on the ground.
Today will be, I think, much like yesterday: some work on the hopper cars, some reading, and some just lazing around.
