I bought one new book today, "Reinventing Gravity" (2008) by John W. Moffat. Here is a quote on the back cover by one of the reviewers: "For anyone interested not only in the gravitational issues themselvesbut also in the nature of the never-ending stuggle over ideas, which is the essence of research itself, this is a book to read".
I have finished reading "Born Digital". I may make a few notes tomorrow. But one thought that hits me as I finish is that the entire book is words. There is not one diagram, photo or image anywhere in the book. This in not so much a book about the "first generation of Digital Natives" as it is a book about the "last generation of non-Digital Natives". Tomorrow I will draw a diagram.
