The morning begins with Technology - the computer requires 3 update files. Done. The university gave me more web space so I should have no difficulty completing this year's journals.
The weather is still very windy. From the point of view of geocaching this is not a problem. But from the point of view of taking photos, it is. Yesterday the sky was overcast and grey and the light was dull. Also on very windy days there is little opportunity to look for birds. On the other hand, it is fun to be outdoors and experiencing reality. Life on the screen, or with model trains, is not the same. I have a Sydney Morning Herald calendar on my wall that consists of Leunig cartoons. The October cartoon shows a father and son looking at a sunrise on the television while the same image is viewable out the window. I love it!
Model Trains: I am building 4 cylindrical hopper kits. I will give this a major part of today. I will aim for completing step 4 (Brake System) for the remaining 3 kits. It took 2 hours to complete this step for the first car, but I am hoping that I am a bit more efficient now.

Today has been devoted to working on the 4 kits for cylindrical hopper cars. I have completed assembly of step 4 (brake system) and step 5 (hatches and hinges) for all 4 of my cylindrical hopper cars. This took almost 6 hours as it was very finicky work.
