A. Morning Musings

It is still very dark outside at 6 in the morning. A good excuse for updating this web site.

Today's forecast looks like yesterday's - a relatively dreary day. But yesterday was fine and the geocaching decision a good one. Today I will act on my early morning thought from yesterday: A good day for continuing to work on my model train layout. I will try to install one of my Digitrax DS64 stationary decoder modules to the Jasper District. If everything goes according to plan I will have four turnouts on my mainline that I can control with the handheld Cab. I also will cut a small section off the Jasper District table to give me a little more room in the aisle between Jasper and Lone Pine.

I am trying to find balance between the geocaching and my model train activities. Today will also be a good day to begin reading "Midnight's Children" by Salman Rushdie.

I have had a very good day, successfully installing my first Digitrax D64 stationary module. I can now control 4 mainline turnouts with my MRC wireless handheld Cab.
