A. Morning Musings

A forecast high of only +13 C is a real drop in temperatures from the last week. It is raining at the moment.

I have decided to begin reading a story by one of my favorite Canadian authors about one of my favorite areas, the national parks in the Canadian rockies.

B. Actual Learning Activities

2:00 PM

I have begun reading Sid Marty's latest book about grizzly bears in Banff. It is fantastic.

Also, I must remember that the web site for saving geocaches to my Garmin unit is:

https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/marketing/geocache.htm

5:00 PM

I went for one more geocache this afternoon. I clearly had the appropriate tree surrounded but I only achieved another DNF (Did Not Find). One of the hints was that the cache was a green Bison tube. When I returned home and googled this I learned that it is a small tube about one and half inches long. Since the tree is also green, this certainly makes for a challenge, one I have yet to meet.

I am going to focus on larger caches for a while and see if my luck improves.

Here is a photo of the site. I am pretty sure the cache is in the middle tree, somewhere.
