A. Morning Musings

am
11:50 am

The Christmas tree has its lights on, but there is still some work to be done adding the final decorations.

My list of chores that need attention will be the focus of my morning activities:

Then I will focus on my model train layout and make sure that I understand the current wiring for DC before thinking about modifying it for DCC. But I may have it DCC operational this afternoon, including the reversing loop. It I can find a heart monitor this morning then I will add exercise to my schedule.

Immediate Description Time
Model Trains Review of DCC and previous activities from early spring 2 hr
Literature "Seven Types of Ambiguity " by Elliot Perlman 2 hr

B. Actual Learning Activities

2:30 PM

My list of chores is shrinking. There are only two items left.

The heart monitor is fascinating. Although it looks and acts like a wristwatch, it has one additional button which I press with the face of one of my fingers. After about 4 seconds it gives my heart rate. Basically it acts like a small EKG machine. The target range while exercising for a person my age is between 80 - 136. I will try this out tomorrow.
