6:30 PM

We are now Home.

This was a very long day.

We were up at 5:00 am in our hotel room in Sydney Australia and went to bed at 9:00 PM in our home in Lethbridge Alberta. Both times are local times. In between we spent about 15 + 6 + 1 hours flying and 2 hours being driven between Calgary and Lethbridge. Another 6 hours were spent in Sydney, 2 hours in Honolulu, 5 hours in Vancouver and 2 hours in Calgary. Roughly the day had 39 hours.

Our first impression on arriving in Calgary was one of how nice the air was: clear, cold and crisp. Delightful.

It was also a delight to realise that someone had shoveled the snow from our driveway and sidewalk when we arrived home!
