A. Morning Musings

6:20 am

dawn

Today is a travel day. We fly out of Ballina at 12:30 PM, arriving in Sydney at about 2 PM. We will check into a hotel near the airport and then decide on our next steps. Weather will be a factor.

C. Actual Learning Activities

6:30 PM

We are now in our room at the Airport Mercure Hotel. We walked over to the International Terminal for dinner and had a very good burger and beer. I was also very lucky to find a book that I have been looking for over the last few weeks: Seven Types of Ambiguity by Elliot Perlman. I read another book by Perlman ("Three Dollars") as soon as we arrived in Australia and loved it. Now I will have something good to read on the flight home.

Sitting in a hotel room on the night before one returns home after a three month absence is even better than January 1 for making a few resolutions. My big one will be to focus on fitness - walking plus EXERCISE
