We drive over to the airport this morning and take a plane to the Whitsundays.
This was an easy day. We had breakfast at the motel beside our own and then drove over to the airport, parked the car in long-term parking, and checked in for our flight to Porsepine. We left at 1:30 PM and arrived in Porsepine at about 3:00 PM. From there we took a bus to Airlie Beach where we checked into our unit. Wow, is it ever nice. We met up with friends and went downtown to have dinner at a seafood restaurant and buy a few groceries. This is a perfect start to our "holiday within a holiday".
