I will be more than happy if I can simply figure out how to set up Ship It! to run a train consisting of a locomotive (CN 6700) and one empty hopper from Jasper to Black Diamond Mercoal Mines, load it with coal, return to the Jasper Coaling Tower, and unload it. I am pretty sure that the problem lies with the precision that I need to specify for the Industry and Train options.
I continue to make changes to the records, but I am not yet on top of this.
I have mounted the couplers and trucks on CN 382001 and ALNX 396478.
Both cars run very smoothly with the new trucks.
I have just ordered two Loksound DCC decoders from Tony's Train Exchange. They should be shipped either today or Monday. Once I have them I will arrange to have them installed and programmed.
I seem to be much closer with my adjustments to Ship It!. The issue is clearly one of fully appreciating the significance of some of the options. I am now shipping coal from Mercoal Mines to the Jasper Coaling Tower. However I do not yet feel that I am on top of some of the options.
