If we reach the forecast high, this will be the hottest day this summer.
Much of the last two days has been involved in selling the 1992 Camry. That task was completed yesterday evening. Now to get back to the patio chairs.
I have three chairs fully completed and ready for the finishing coats. Since this will require 3 coats, this should take another 3 days. The fourth chair still needs to have the slats on the seat glued into place. That will be easy. Then I need to start work on the tete-a-tete.
Allan gave me an idea for attaching a small battery pack to my GPS unit. I may try to find the necessary components when I take a break.

Another full, but tiring, day. The temperature was only 31 C, but the sweat was pouring off my forehead as I worked on the tete-a-tete.
All four of the chair backs have had their first coat of finish applied, as have three chairs. The fourth chair is now finished glueing and ready for the first coat of finish.
The tete-a-tete is almost ready for the glueing of the slats to the seat frame, and for the back slats to be screwed to the back frame. The frames are completely sanded and the slats are fitted for the seats. The glueing will take the time as there are 12 slats for the seats, which will take all day tomorrow for it to be done, 2 slats at a time, with a delay of 2 hours between pairs, as I only have enough clamps for 2 slats at a time.
