Now for a few early morning thoughts.
I am pleased with the new sidewalk in the back yard. But it has motivated me to restain the wooden barrier walls for our raised garden. Today looks like a good day for that: I have no other tasks scheduled and the weather will be dry and cool.

The staining is finished and the yard looks much better than it did before.

We also came up with a better system for temporarily storing our truck canopy in the garage. After looking carefully at the yard, we realized there was no suitable location for it. But having it rest on our patio furniture was also a poor solution. I bought a couple of sawhorse kits and a few 2x4s and now have it resting on two sawhorses. I will put the canopy back on the truck after we decide that we are finished using the 5th wheel for the summer. At the moment we have yet to use it this year, but hopefully it will be ready next week.
Now to barbeque a steak and drink some red wine.
