A. Morning Musings

Here is the last half of the Rumi poem for today:

Muhammaed said, Do not theorize
about essence. All speculations
are just more layers of covering.
Human beings love coverings.

They think the designs on the curtains
are what is being concealed.

Observe the wonders as they occur around you.
Do not claim them. Feel the artistry
Moving through, and be silent.

Now to make a cup of coffee and settle in for the day. If I am ambitious I should be able to complete making notes for the Karlins book. I only want to do this for chapters 5 & 7. The other chapters are all relatively irrelevant to my needs.

I also want to try making a few notes for "A Short History of Progress". It is a short book but superb. Probably the best I have ever read on the topic of where we have been and where we are going.

With a little luck I will also put together the first of two ground throws for my model train layout.

Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 How-Tos (2007)

David Karlins

This book consists of 12 chapters with a total of 100 sections, each focusing on a specific technique. I am making these notes as a way of reinforcing my understanding of the various features of Dreamweaver CS3.

I just received a package containing two Digitrax DS64 Stationary Decoders for my model train layout. These will be used to digitally control 4 turnouts each. I wonder if I will be able to begin installing them today?
