I consider -26 C to be cold. At the moment the wind chill temperature is -37 C. Definitely cold. It is too cold to work on benchwork in the garage. This might be a good day to begin working on the paper for AusWeb 2008.

A very productive day. I spent a couple of hours in the morning doing some background reading on HTML and XHTML. Then in the afternoon I sat down and began writing. The time flew by, but I made a good beginning.
Then after dinner I took a break and read "The Pillars of the Earth" for a couple of hours. This is a long novel, but I have turned the corner and can see how it is likely to end. The ending is clear, it is only the way it is finally achieved that is interesting.
