There was more snow overnight and it is a bit chilly this morning.

Once again, the day was devoted to thinking about, and then creating a plan for incorporating 5 bridges ( 3 already completed) into a loop around the outside walls of the train room. I then realized that I would need a second reversing loop to give me the flexibility to leave the Coaldale yard in either direction and then be able to access any site on the layout.
Once I had the plan, I then modified the track system to incorporate the second reversing loop. This will not actually be operational until I buy a second MRC reversing loop module for DCC control. The next step will be buy the lumber to build the required benchwork for the remaining table tops. I am very optimistic about these proposed changes. And I continue to be amazed at how I think of a way to improve the layout after I am sure that I have an ideal system already in place.
