The Ripening Sun (2003) by Patricia Atkinson
- Phyllis read this in Australia and recommended it to me. This is a true story of a woman who moved to France and became involved in running a winery.
Watercolor Journeys: Create Your Own Travel Sketchbook (2003) by Richard Schilling
- Sue showed me this book and I resolved to buy my own copy and see if it might give me some new ideas for this website.
City of Djinns (1993) by William Dalrymple
- Steve put me on to the travel/history book by Dalrymple. I am looking forward to this.
The Problems of Philosophy (1912) by Bertrand Russell
- This book was recommended in a book I read while in Australia as a great introduction to philosophy.
A Game As Old As Empire (2007) by Steven Hiatt (Ed.)
- I noticed this book in Byron Bay and was captured by the subtitle: The secret world of economic hit men and the web of global corruption.
