Today is Christmas Eve. It is also the first day where the number of hours of daylight has increased, if only by one minute.
Today we will have our traditional tortiere. Delicious.
The last week has simply been busy with all the activities of returning home after a three month "vacation" in Australia, combined with getting ready for Christmas. There has been little time for reading, model trains, or relaxing. Fair enough. Each month has its own rhythm, as does each day. I do not feel like engaging in a morning handwriting activity this morning.

Literature | "Divisadero" by Michael Ondaatje | 2 hr |
