This will be the last sunrise photo from the balcony of our unit.
We move into a friend's place in Ballina today. This will take a few trips as she has a fair amount of stuff that needs to be transferred. And it will take another trip to move our four suitcases. And there is a barbeque that needs to be partially taken apart and moved. We will stay there for 3 days and then we fly to Sydney on Tuesday. But it is relaxing to realize that nothing of importance needs to be done between now and when we get on the plane on Tuesday.

Birding | Bird watching along the shore of the North Creek | 2 hr |
We were completely moved in by noon. We handed in our keys to the unit and are now settled in at a very nice unit in Ballina for the next 3 days.
We went for a walk along the river shore this evening. The birding was unexpectantly great. I think we saw 4 new lifers: a Little Friarbird, a Wood Sandpiper, a Grey Plover, and a Ruff. This brings our total to 199, or possibly 201 after I do a review of two birds that I identified at Flat Rock a few days ago.

Wood Sandpiper |
Grey Plover |
Ruff |
Arctic Tern |
Ringed Plover |
A close look at all 6 photos and a comparison with my two field guides leads me to believe that all are preperly identified. Our total is now 201.
