A. Morning Musings

5:30 am

dawn

I have now had one phone call about selling the car. He will phone again on Saturday to set up a time to view it on either Saturday or Sunday. Today we drive to Lismore to drop off the "computer table" as well as a few books at a couple of friends places. We will have lunch there as well. If the weather is good we may try to see a few birds in the Casino area. Then back to Lennox to vacuum out the car.

Saturday, also depending on the weather, I may go for an early morning breakfast at my office with Allan. But will be back in time to handle the possible activities regarding the car. We still have to dismantle the barbeque, but that will be handled next weekend, just as we move out of the unit. Everything is organized for this move. The only indefinite activity is selling the car.

The plan is to move out of the unit next Saturday, December 8. Then we return to the unit on Sunday for some last minute cleaning. Monday we hand in the keys. Tuesday we fly out of Ballina to Sydney. Wednesday we fly from Sydney to Calgary and then take a shuttle bus home in Lethbridge.

The next few days will give me time to return to reading "The Black Swan", a book about rare events and the general unpredictablility of most of life's events. Appropriate.

C. Actual Learning Activities

3:30 PM

I can now relax and enjoy the last week of our trip to Australia. The car is sold. The final financing and papers will be signed next Thursday, but baring the very unexpected, it is a done deal.
