We are quickly getting things organized for our return trip to Canada. We dropped off three loads of clothing to the Sally Anns yesterday and will be taking the table I have been using for my office back to friends in Lismore tomorrow. Still no phone calls about the car. I dropped the asking price from $14K to $12K in the newspaper ad. Now to see if that makes a difference.
We made two trips to Flat Rock and Lake Chicaba yesterday. It is difficult to make a clear identification of some of the terns and shorebirds so we still need 5 new lifers to make 200. At the moment it looks like a bird too far.
Immediate | Description | Time |
---|---|---|
Science | Complete reading "The Secret Life of Wombats" by James Woodford | 1 hr |
Birding | Birding trip to Tyagarah Nature reserve, north of Byron Bay | 3 hr |
We spent an enjoyable morning birding at Tyagarah Nature reserve just a few miles north of Byron Bay. We then returned to have lunch at my "office". We saw a number of birds (Lewin's Honeyeaters, a White-browed Scrubwren, many Silvereyes, a Grey Fantail sitting on her nest, and a Pied Butcherbird), but no new lifers.
Still no phone calls about the car, even though I lowered the price from $14K to $12K.
