Today is the federal election in Australia between John Howard and Kevin Rudd. My sense is that the majority of voters want a change. We shall see.
Still no phone calls about our car. I am now thinking that I will drive into Lismore on Monday and talk to the mechanic who serviced the car. I remember hearing that he had said that he might be interested in it. Another small task, also waiting until next week, is to see about sending a box of books back to Lethbridge. The critical issue is which books are worth the expense of such a mailing.
We have received a package in the mail that appears to mean that we may receive a rebate on some money I earned about 7 years ago from the uni (some income tax was deducted that may be eligible for a refund). Another we shall see.
Another potential task is that of seeing 5 more birds. That would bring our total to 200 over the last two years. One possibility is a rainforest trail about a 30 minute drive from Lennox Head.
