C. Actual Learning Activities

This was indeed the highlight. The catamaran trip to the reef took about 3 hours. We then transferred to an anchored platform that had all of the facilities for underwater viewing, snorkling and scuba diving. It was truly a very special experience.

We were back on shore about 5:30 PM and feeling very satisfied. We decided to walk downtown and look for a restaurant. We quickly realized that the "Schoolies" break after final exams had begun. The town is overflowing with teenagers out to celebrate and have a good time. We had a good Mexican meal and then walked around for a bit to see the kids.
