The blizzard conditions lasted for the entire day. In the late afternoon I finally ventured outdoors to shovel the driveway which had drifted in.
Much of the day was devoted to reviewing my photo files of our trip to Florida.
I spent a couple of hours looking at two geocaching software packages: MacCaching and Route Buddy. Although I liked Route Buddy it requires that one purchase a map in order to use it. MacCaching is essentially free ($15.). But the real truth is that the procedure I use now will still remain my primary activity.
Much of the time was spent learning the sequence of steps to obtain a Pocket Query file.
I then spent a couple of hours with MacKeeper. I can see where I may be able to save some space on my hard drive by deleting duplicate files but I will have to take this slowly and very carefully.
I also spent a couple of hours trying to fill in a few blanks on the puzzles in one of my NYT crossword books.
