The weather forecast is for a slight warming trend, but we are under a windchill warning at the moment. As the wind picks up the windchill temperature is supposed to be in the -40 C to -45 C range. Frostbite on exposed skin may occur in less than 10 minutes. And elsewhere there is a huge blizzard forming in the American northwest and a severe hurricane (aka cyclone) is due to hit Queensland in a couple of days.
Meanwhile in Egypt ...
I plan to get our vehicles moving today. There are a few chores that need attention.
I have finished setting up the links and pages for February. The page of interest is the Year to Date Time Table where I have the totals for January and which I can compare with those for previous years. I am suprised at the overall stability of many of the totals. For example: this January the total number of hours spent on identified Learning activities is 152, last year it was 158; and for Literature is was 32 this year, 27 last year. But there are also differences: last January the large total was Technology (115), this January it was Model Trains (84). This year I finally put some effort into Mathematics (17) but I should do better yet.
