B. Actual Learning Activities

10:50 am

I have relaid the outer mainline track with a switch now inserted that will provide access to the turntable. I have placed sections of track around the turntable that will eventually hold 5 locomotives. There is still the wiring to be done before the turntable is operational.

I have also begun working on one of the Magnuson HI grain trucks that I bought a few years ago. The first step is to glue together the three main pieces. Once that is finished, I will begin painting it.

800 PM

The grain truck has a first coat of paint on it. It is looking pretty good - I can't believe I waited this long to try putting it together.

I finished reading "Cool Water". The book simply flowed along. A nice picture of today in a small town in the rural west.
