The drive to Vulcan was fine. The road was dry and bare. We took a round-about way back, stopping off in Lomond for a few minutes. These roads were wet with lots of blowing snow but no real difficulty. We stopped in Coaldale for a coffee at Tims, arriving home in the mid-afternoon.
Model Trains: It didn't take long to remove some track pieced in the Black Diamond yard and replace it with 2 sections of 3' flex track. I now have the general track laid down for the turntable. I will need one switch to handle the connection to the outer mainline. I have read the instructions for the wiring and think I understand them. This will take a little work as there are 5 tracks leaving the turntable that need an on-off capability so I can turn the power off on the locomotive once it is parked on these tracks.
