The morning is beginning in fine fashion.
No snow overnight - so no shovelling this morning.
I did my early morning check of email and had a reply from an enquiry I made last week about receiving a discount for a software package for the Mac that provides a computer language called APL. This was, and still is, my favorite computing language, even though it has been almost 40 years since I last used it. Yes, they will give me a discount, which will bring it within reach. The next step will be to download the 30-day free trial so I can verify that it will meet my expectations.
Today is also the first full working day of 2011. I am optimistic that the book "Linear Algebra" will arrive today. This book is written by an MIT professor who has his complete course on this topic on the Web. I plan to use both the book and his YouTube lectures to provide me with a solid framework for this topic. The planets are definitely in alignment this morning.
