Good progress on the wiring of the turntable.
I set up a group of temporary wires connecting the turntable and a connector panel to the main power grid as well as connecting one locomotive holding track to the layout. I then tested the entire setup by running a locomotive onto the turntable, maintaining power to the locomotive while manually rotating the turntable, then moving the locomotive onto the holding track and then turning off the power on the holding track. All is well.
I then visited the local hobby shop and bought a second connector panel. I now have all the necessary pieces for a final wiring of the entire system, and I know which wires go where.
I want to have this working before I begin running trains according to the Session 2 reports from ShipIt! as I will make use of the turntable while creating consists in the Coaldale Yard.
