A fairly relaxing, do little, day.
I continue to google the web looking for information on gps and macintosh systems. This site looked to be useful: http://www.macgpspro.com/ . I am almost certain that I will purchase a Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx device for the GPS receiver. I would have bought one in Calgary on Thursday but the store was out of stock. I am still not totally sure about how the geotagging works but am eager to begin walking around the coulees looking for geocaches.
I now realize that the MacGPSPro provides maps for display on a Mac, but NOT on the GPS unit. It does allow for transferring routes and waypoints from the Mac to the GPS receiver.
The maps on the Mac are superb. But I will also need maps on the GPS receiver for use when away from the laptop.
