I tried a few different combinations for the placement of track in Jasper. I now have a sense of where I want to locate the Coal Loading Tower. If I stay with this idea, I will need 3 right turnouts and 1 left turnout, all electronic (they are too far in from the edge of the table to easily use a hand throw).
The Coal Loading Tower is at the back. The cards all indicate potential buildings. I have no idea at the moment what industries I should have here, but the criterion will be to have some connection with at least one other location.
In addition to these industries, I have a kit for a Water Tank (which I bought many years ago).

I have never made a wooden kit before so this will be another learning experience. My first impression is that this will be much more difficult than working with plastic.
A good day. All three activities were taken care of.
It is -24 C at the moment, but tomorrow we are supposed to reach +2 C. Then the following day the high will be -17C. Crazy weather!
