In exactly two week's time we fly from Ballina to Sydney. The time has just flown by. We have begun looking at our stuff and seeing what we can give to the Salvation Army and what we will pack and take back with us.
Still no sign of interest in selling the car. I think I will drive to Lismore this morning and talk to the mechanic that serviced the car and see if he is interested in purchasing it.
We went birding at Flat Rock yesterday. We were pretty sure that we had one, perhaps two new birds. But when we checked our books, one turned out to be an grey morph of the Eastern Reef Egret and another was the Black-shouldered Kite. It is tempting to call it the Letter-winged Kite but the book says that the Black-shouldered Kite is more common along the coast.
I have hit a definite lull in Learning activities.
A sudden rain shower has just begun. I will never get over how the rain can start and stop almost on a whim.
