There is a nice morning sunrise at the moment. We will likely be driving to Byron Bay this morning for a combination of beach walking and birding. Two obvious tasks are to add photos from our trip to Airlie Beach and to update my birding data base. I did go through the photos yesterday and determined that we had actually seen 15 new "lifers" on our trip. That brings our total of Australian birds to 195.

Birding | Update birding database | 2 hr |
Mathematics | Complete reading "The Man Who Knew Too Much" | 1 hr |
Technology | Update iTunes with music from 3 CDs | 1 hr |
I have finished updating my birding database. We have now seen 195 Australian lifers. It would be nice to raise that number to 200 before we leave in three weeks. But it will likely take some serious effort as we have seen most of the birds in this area.
Here are a few photos of the trip to Byron Bay.
