It is still overcast, but there is a slight break in the clouds over the ocean. As I was taking my early morning photo a fellow passed by on the sidewalk wearing a sweater and a woolen toque. Anothe couple were wearing long pants and a sweatshirt with a hood. It has been almost two full weeks of cool, wet, overcast weather.
I will be spending the day at Byron Bay, as G_ will be taking a scuba lesson. Lots of time for reading.

This day turned out to be much better than expected. The weather finally seemed to break about 2 in the afternoon.
I had my first cappucino at my newly renovated office:
I met G_ at noon and found out that she had already had her first dive at Julian Rocks and was about to leave for her second dive. Both dives were fantastic. She now has her Padi Passport Card and is certified to dive anywhere when accompanied by a guide. Exactly what she wanted. She saw turtles, rays, large fish, small fish and seven sharks (the harmless kind).
