A. Morning Musings

The birding activities require that I focus on getting my Filemaker Pro database files in order. I spent about 4 hours on this yesterday, just looking at the photos for the day.

It is cloudy this morning meaning there is no sunrise over the ocean. The sky simply gets lighter but remains grey.

C. Actual Learning Activities

We are back from our trip to Lismore. We had a great lunch with some friends - the highlight being a pumpkin cheescake with a maple leaf on the top. Impressive, as was the entire meal.

We did stop off at Lismore Square shopping centre where I bought one book as well as some materials for learning to draw.

- I bought an earlier book by Bob Dylan when I was here last time. This is becoming a habit.
Draw Really Cool Stuff (2005) by Doug DuBosque
- I have been saying I would like to begin learning to draw for a few years now. Perhaps this book, which was on sale for $16.99, will help me begin.
