CBC Headline: Schwarzenegger Inks Stem Cell Research Deal With Ontario
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a deal with Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty on Wednesday to develop and fund a project for stem cell research. Ontario will contribute $30 million to a joint research project between the province and California that will focus on finding new therapies for cancer and Alzheimer's disease. This appears to bypass President Bush's veto on stem cell research.

10:50 am I finished reading the Jeffery Deaver novel earlier this morning.
8:30 PM The weather was gorgeous so we decided to go birding about 11 this morning. The original idea was to see some young Canada Goose goslings but when we arrived there we didn't see any Canada Geese at all. But we did end up seeing 4 new lifers, so it was a great outing.
