Mosimann Laboratory

Facility Tour: Biophysical Lab

The infrastructure in this laboratory utilize relatively advanced biophysical methods to characterize binding interactions that involve macromolecules. This information complements X-ray crystallographic structural studies and allows us to understand protein and nucleic acid function at the molecular level.

This laboratory includes a VP-Isothermal Titration Calorimeter (MicroCal), a Surface Plasmon Resonance Spectrophotometer (BiaCore) and a Dynamic Light Scattering Device.
