A. Morning Musings

7:50 am It is -2 C at the moment and foggy. The forecast is for a high of + 14 C.

My weight is steady at 184. A bit surprising given yesterday's dinner but I am grateful. The walk in the coulee may have helped hold the weight even.

I have 3 ongoing projects that I would like to finish in the next few days. One is to paint the bathroom vanity cabinet. Two is to get my North American birds data base up to date. Three is to get my iPhoto database keyworded. I would also like to get back to making progress with my model train layout. I would like to tack down the track for the outer mainline and get it fully wired for DCC.

C. Actual/Notes

9:10 am I have the doors off the bathroom vanity and have put plastic wood into the nail holes. I plan to paint the undercoat later today.

Now to put a solid hour onto my North American bird database.

12:50 PM I have my North American birds database up to date. Here are the new totals:

Year
Unique for year
Lifers
1994

1995

2004

Now we are in a position to know when we see a new bird (either for the current year, or as a lifer). I am relieved to get this particular file up to date. I still have a little work to do keywording the iPhoto records.
