A. Morning Musings

6:00 am The temperature is +10 C with a high forecast of +26. 30% chance of showers in the evening.

We plan to pour some cement along the foundation for the garage this morning. I created a list of simple todos yesterday evening:

• phone accountant re. estate information on pensions
• phone Calgary model train store about wire
• visit local landscaping store about patio bricks and sand
• visit cement expert about parging the front cement foundation
• replace washer in front hose faucet
• review condition of 5th wheel before taking it in (needs 4 new tires)
• phone CRDC about ftp path names for mac server
• try Chapters about vol 3 of "The Story of the Stone" while in Calgary

Now for a little relaxing reading before beginning the day.

C. Actual/Notes

3:45 PM We took our morning walk from 8:30 - 9:30 and had the cement poured by 12:30 PM. So far, it is looking fine.

I phoned my accountant about the estate information that he requires and left a message on voice mail. I have not heard back from him yet.

I phoned CRDC and they gave me the path name for using ftp for the mac server. I then had no difficulty downloading all of my web files from a few years ago.

I phoned the Calgary model train store about the wire and they said they didn't handle wire but gave me the names of two companies in Calgary that they recommended. I then phoned a Lethbridge company and they had exactly what I wanted. Perfect. I now am ready to try wiring the power block for the lower mainline.
