A. Morning Musings

6:50 am The first item this morning was to get on the Internet and check the Australian news. Two miners who have been trapped underground for over a week are due to be rescued shortly. But the news this morning indicates in may be a few more hours before the rescue tunnel will be completed. And a young girl who was seriously injured two years ago in a freak auto accident two years ago is in intensive care after being hit by a car while she was being wheeled across a crosswalk. She is still in intensive care but the doctors are optimistic that she will pull through.

I have definitely begun the countdown for returning to Lethbridge. We will be having lunch with our regular Sunday mates, then we will return to our house and make sure that we have everything packed for our plane ride tomorrow to Sydney. Everything appears to be in order.
