A. Morning Musings
5:40 am Another very cool early morning. But by 11 am it should be another glorious day.
We plan to move over to another house for the next few days. This will give us a chance to make our final decisions on what to pack, what to leave and what to throw out.
Staying here has been a great experience. The birding was a real delight. Both the variety as well as the sheer numbers was exciting. We saw 27 new birds since we moved in here! But with the cooler weather the last few days, we have only seen a few of the regulars, such as the laughing Kookaburra, the Eastern Yellow Robin, and the Grey Fantail.
Now to add a few more images to the pages for the last few days.
B. Plan
Chores: moving to new location
Technology: continue learning about XSL
History: continue reading and making notes for "Medieval Lives"
Literature: continue reading "Napoleon: The Song of Departure"
C. Actual
4:00 PM We had a regular feeding frenzy of birds just before we left. These included the Scarlet Honeyeater, an Eastern Spinebill, a Little Shrike-thrush and a Spotted Pardalote as well as a couple that evaded identification.
We are now settled in to our new place for our last few days before we fly to Sydney on Monday.
The view from this porch, particularly in the early morning and evening, is one of my favorite views in Australia.
