A. Morning Musings

5:00 am The water is on the boil. I will need it this morning. It is quite cool at the moment. About 8 C.

Yesterday was very pleasant. We went for lunch in Ballina with two of our favorite Lismorites and then returned to the house for a cuppa. I got on the Internet and found that Edmonton had beaten Detroit 4 - 3 and eliminated them from further competition. That will be the upset of the playoffs for this year. The timing was perfect as we had just received a couple of nice reds as a gift.

We have a trip planned to Byron Bay and Lennox Head which should take care of much of today. The early mornings are definitely cool (about 8 - 9 C) but by late morning the temperature is in the mid-20s with lots of blue sky.

B. Plan

Chores: none

Technology: continue learning about XSL

History: continue reading and making notes for "Medieval Lives"

Literature: continue reading "Napoleon: The Song of Departure"

C. Actual

6:00 PM We are back from a trip to Byron Bay, Lennox Head and Ballina. The weather was gorgeous. It is hard to believe it can be so nice in the day when it is so cool in the early morning. The sky was clear and the ocean just sparkled with a light green/blue color.

Here are a few images of our day:

This wallaby came by the property in the early morning to wish us a good day.

Now for a few images of Byron Bay:
