A. Morning Musings

6:20 am The beginning of a new month. It takes a few minutes to set up the necessary pages and links as I set up the file folders for May.

Creating the list of To Dos for May will be a bit tentative as I am not sure about many tasks until after we arrive back in Lethbridge. A number of tasks that are dependent on the books that I shipped home via sea mail will have to wait at least for a couple of months. On the other side of the ledger, a number of items that I thought of while in Australia but which require that I be home may now be added to the list to To Dos for May. I now have 11 items in my list for May and have reduced the number of items in the "Future" category to 37.

B. Plan

Chores: none

Technology: continue learning about XSL

History: continue reading and making notes for "Medieval Lives"

C. Actual

8:00 am Three Wonga Pigeons walked into the area behind the house this morning. A Laughing Kookaburra watched from a nearby tree. However there was very little additional bird activity throughout the morning or early afternoon.

3:20 PM We are back from Ballina and another cappuccino at Peleican 181. This time I have 3 new novels by Max Gallo to occupy my time during the last week. They are the first 3 (of 4) novels based on the life of Napoleon. I am not sure how to locate the fourth volume at the moment.

D. Reflection

7:10 PM The next few days are sprinkled with meetings and social get togethers. Tuesday, Wednesday and next Sunday are already scheduled. Friday we will be busy moving from the house we have been sitting for the last month to the Sawkins'. That leaves Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But it is still more a matter of marking time until we are back home and into our familiar routines around Lethbridge. The forecast for our last week in Australia is sunny with warm afternoons but very cool evenings.

I am spending much of my reading between the Gallo books and "Medieval Lives". Both are historical. They provide a nice respite from Stylus Studio activities.
