      A. Morning Musings

5:15 am I am up closer to the time that I prefer. It is still dark outside and everything is quiet. I have almost three hours in front of me to focus on Learning. Yesterday I read the first 2 chapters from "CSS in 10 Minutes" and then downloaded the exercises that accompany the book.

      B. Plan

Chores: meet a mechanic in Lismore to go over procedures for getting the car inspected and registered while we are in Canada. We also need a few essential groceries.
Technology: begin reading CSS in 10 minutes
History: begin reading and making notes for "Medieval Lives "
Birds: regular monitoring of Alison's bird baths

      C. Actual

5:35 am Begin notes for "CSS in 10 Minutes". This has been a great beginning! The combination of the book and the drop down menus within Dreamweaver have turned out to be an unexpected development, but I can now see the value of having a clear idea of the syntax for CSS since it allows me to utilize the features of Dreamweaver.
For the first time I can also visualize how I might totally recode my web sites into a CSS format. 7:30 am
Now to take a break. So far I have seen an Eastern Yellow Robin outside my window. And the coffee tastes great. I can hear the Noisy Friarbirds and Rainbow Lorrikeets overhead. An Emerald Pigeon just appeared on the grass in front of my window.
Here are a few views of the house we are sitting.

The pine paneling gives it a very comfy look.
7:30 PM I am about to begin reading "Medieval Lives" by Terry Jones. This looks like a natural sequel to "In Search of the DarkAges".
